Specialised Remedial Therapy
Do not ignore your pain, it’s an early symptom, a warning.
People often have on and off pain, or pain that appears to move around. This is simply other structures or muscles of the body compensating, attempting to maintain equilibrium. The body is a working unit, together with all other structures. Often the pain site is not the real problem, it’s simply taking the brunt of an imbalance somewhere else, the symptom communicating to you to look deeper.
What to expect
This will depend greatly on what issue you present with. The cause of the pain is not often in plain sight. Body mechanics are complex, and the discomfort can be due to many factors. Pain can manifest from postural habits, emotional issues, stress or physical traumas. For example, the way you walk for instance, can result in a neck pain.
Some people only need one session, others find that a combination of treatments over a few sessions works best for them.
Types of techniques used
Catherine has developed a unique, individualised and comprehensive treatment program using a combination of techniques.
Myofascial Release: Relieves muscle soreness, encourages lymph drainage to remove toxic build ups.
Trigger Points: Relieves constricted areas of the muscle bringing pain relief.
Muscle Memory: Emotional or physical trauma and strains changes the behaviour of the muscle. Fascia has many nerve endings and encases itself around the muscle fibres giving them some shape, tone and operating as the communication mechanism to the brain.
Deep Tissue Therapy: Breaks up scar tissue and reduces muscle tension.
Skeletal Assessment and Corrections: Skeletal imbalance assessment and causes. How you walk, body awareness and how you change the misalignments for yourself.
Specialised Remedial Massage: Headaches, Joint Pain, Cramps, Neck tension, Back pain, Sports injuries, Arthritis, Muscle weakness, Knee pain.
Pain Relief for Children: The therapies and strategies used to help a child’s physical condition are similar to adults.
Pain can be so debilitating, causing stress, relationship breakdowns and a feeling of frustration. Chronic or intermittent pain are all symptoms that need to be addressed as they are signs from the body to take notice. You do not need to settle for constant pain. Utilising specialised remedial massage techniques and, if required, incorporating advanced kinesiology, Catherine has developed a unique approach to pain relief. Her techniques are specifically tailored to meet the needs of the individual.
Let’s be honest, most people would have been to see multiple health professionals, often with inconsistent results. After experiencing Catherine’s unique treatment, clients have long term pain relief, often with permanent results.
This is next level pain transformation, creating dynamic physical and emotional changes that are extremely powerful.
