Children’s Pain Relief

What Happens During a Session

The therapies and strategy to address children’s pain must include taking into account their individual personality and how receptive they are to various treatments. A flexible approach to the session and treatment planning is essential.

Growing up can be hard for both children and their parents. It’s always distressing when kids are in pain, both physical and emotional, especially when you don’t know how to help them. Treatment can seem invasive and scary for a child and be confusing for adults.

Children often feel stress and pressure about all sorts of things. This can lead to headaches, neck and shoulder pain, back issues and emotional concerns. Correction at an early stage of life is vital for correct postural growth and emotional balance.

Parents often bring their children to me after seeing many different therapists without success. By then both the child and the parents are fatigued by the process and looking for someone whom they can trust to provide results and compassion.

I understand children and work to build a good rapport with each child in their first session so that they feel valued and comfortable. Trust is vital for the best results. Communication and respect provide a positive outcome for postural corrections and pain relief with children and adults alike.

Often children suffer from ailments such as growing pains, flat feet and inverted ankles which can go on to cause all sorts of physical pain in later life. Adjusting these ailments helps the child to grow straight both physically and emotionally.

Parents often find that after the first session their child finds immediate benefit and leaves feeling confident and hopeful. The kids aren’t even sure why at this stage but they know that they are looking forward to seeing me again for another treatment.

My greatest successes come when working with the most challenging cases.
